Feasibility Study on the Wheel Set Wear Prediction Based on Simulation Analysis

Abstract For studying the influencing factors of wheel set wear on high-speed trains, a large number simulation analyses have found that line conditions, speed, tread profile, adhesion coefficient, contact geometry, and other varying degrees impact wear. However, based difficulty dynamic measurement, it cannot be directly verified. By establishing rigid-flexible model for correlation between pair rail load under different working conditions was simulated analyzed. A dynamometer is used to measure loads.
